Thank you! + Prize & Goodie Logistics
Hello hackers,
Congratulations on completing Steel City Hacks: Winter Hack 2022!!! At this time, if you haven't already arranged a late submission exemption with a hackathon organizer, we are unable to accept late submissions--we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our panel of judges is excited to look through your hard work!
If you have submitted a project (or were on a team that submitted a project) to this contest, please fill out this form (if you have not done so already) if you are interested in any one of:
- A certificate of completion
- A free sticker pack
- A free shirt
Please note that we will be unable to accommodate deliveries outside the United States due to high international shipping and handling fees (even to neighboring countries like Canada). If you have a friend with a U.S. address who might be able to get the package to you, feel free to put that down.
This form is due on (and will close by) Sunday 12/18 at 8PM EST (the date/time that prizes will be announced). Because we will be placing bulk orders, this deadline will have no exceptions.
Should you win a prize:
As a reminder, prizes will be announced on the evening (EST) of Sunday 12/18 over email. Award winners will be featured on our Devpost.
Prize winners will be individually contacted at the email addresses they used to sign up for Devpost. Failure to reply promptly (e.g. within 1-5 days) to these emails will result in prize cancellations. Check your email!
Finally, participants may be contacted about the possibility of featuring their videos or projects on Steel City Codes media, websites, or other formats. This is entirely optional--more specifics will be included in any communications you receive.
We'd like to once again extend many thanks to our sponsors, as well as to our parent organization, Steel City Codes. If you're interested in our mission of helping spread computer science education across the world (and potentially in starting a local chapter in your area) feel free to email contact@steelcitycodes.org for more info.
Finally, one last thank you to you, the hackers, for dedicating your time and energy to creating beautiful things and embracing the spirit of our incredible computer science community! We hope that you all continue chasing your passions and look forward to potentially seeing you at our future events.
Best,
Steel City Hacks organizers
